The Breeding Kennels

The Breeding Kennel provides safe sleeping and isolation areas for breeding my top producers.  Boxers love water and cool off in the two wading pools.

A Shower helps cool things down, too!

The Exercise Yard

The Contenders have a large fenced exercise and play area.

Due to the growing family, separate divisions were created in the yard.  A new habitat was set up for the older boxers, too.  The dogs can still meet at the "gossip corner" for family talks.

A divider was added to the Breeding Kennels to add an extra isolation pen for Puppies and/or Breeding.

The Whelping Box

Here is the Whelping Box just completed with Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic laminate over 3/4" plywood for the floor, back and side panels for easy cleaning.  The unit is 4'X4'X16" with  2-1/2" raised floor and removable 1X4s for the front so the height can be adjusted as needed to keep puppies in yet let the mother enter/exit easily.  Removable "Pup-Rails" of 3/4" dowel rod keep Mama from laying on the Puppies after they are born.
